Hotel Accademia

The location of this property is brilliant. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived late and Sergio on the front desk was extremely helpful, we were even lucky enough to receive an upgrade. The building is old with lots of character, the location is just brilliant. I travelled with my sister and mother. My mother finds it hard to walk long distances but the Trevi fountain is less than 2 minutes away, there are loads of shops and places to eat close by. Our hotel room had been recently renovated and it had a very nice bedroom with a lovely shower. There is a taxi rank practically beside the hotel and the hotel organised a taxi for us to the airport there is a standard fare of €55. The breakfast was grand. The hotel is located up a little street close to the Trevi fountain but away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed for 3 nights and on the second night we could hear singing while we were in our bedroom, we thought it was coming from a speaker we couldn’t believe our luck when we looked out our window and saw this very talented lady singing opera in the square in front of our hotel , she was brilliant. It was a lovely surprise and such a lovely memory to share with my mother and sister, it was magical.

Top location, comfortable stay and worth the money we paid for twin room with street view, just few steps to fountain trevi. Breakfast was okay, not super.

Safe and comfortable location for family travelling with teens. Location is amazing, and quiet. We greatly appreciated the upgrade from our standard family room to premium family room. The complementary wine and water in the rooms was a nice touch. This was our second time staying here, albeit about 20 years apart!

Location is fantastic - walking distance to Fountain Trevi and Pantheon, and also walkable to Colosseum. Nightlife is buzzing (if you have your window to the street, you will get street - people walking/talking - noise, but you can close the window). Breakfast is excellent too (though, cannot imagine cakes and sweets for breakfast!).
